A rhetorical situation is where at least one uses some form of communication to modify the perspective of another person. A rhetoric situation can also be referred to as all the characteristics of an audience, purpose and exigence that are aimed at creating a suitable rhetoric response (Yagelski, 2014). In everyday life, we go through various rhetoric situations. Personally, I come across numerous rhetoric situations in almost all setting; whether on the streets, in school, at home, entertainment joints and even church. My first example of a rhetoric situation is on a commercial on television. The commercial seeks to promote a food product for children and reads "Mums who truly love their children buy candies." The commercial uses rhetoric by pers uading parents to buy otherwise they will be perceived as less caring and less loving towards their children.The second rhetoric situation i come across is when we talking politics with my friends. In most cases, they refer to the white house as a "playground" for the president. The situation becomes rhetoric because it is a tactic used by my friends to persuade me, who is in support of the president, that he is either incompetent ...
